You're the Cats Meow

Photo of a big bunny rabbit!

Yesturday it was my birthday, and it also happened to be my boyfriends bestfriends birthday. We went out for dinner and exchanged gifts. My boyfriend bought his friend a card but I wanted to make him a card. He's so silly, he loves cats! lol when he comes over for a visit he plays and talks to my two cats (Abby and Sasha) lol. So what could be better than a kitty card?

Isn't it cute? He loved it! and guess what I wrote in the inside?

I wrote it from Me, Sasha and Abby :) too cute!

I ordered some stuff from TwoPeas last tuesday and I got it yesturday. YAY! I was excited to get it last night, it was like an extra bday present lol. I ordered 7 Lawn Fawn stamp sets and a couple more from Hero Arts.

Paper Smooches July Spark Challenge - Card 2

Hey all! Here's another card I made for the Paper Smooches Spark Challenge. On their blog there are a bunch of free Digi stamps. I've never used digi stamps before, and to be honest I was kinda scared to use them. I saw that Diane used some digi stamps and she paper peirced them. Thanks Diane for the technique! :)
I used this sketch for the card and changed it up a bit.
Be back tomorrow with another! :)

Paper Smooches July Spark Challenge - Card 1

Paper Smooches Stamps
are soo cute! Right now I don't own any :( so sad! but I did sign up for the 12 month membership, which I am soo excited for! I will probably end up buying a bunch of the older released stamps too. They are on my wish list.

but since I don't have any of the Paper Smooches stamps, I do have one of Kim Hughes old sets from when cornish heritage farms was still around. I saw someone made a couple projects using the set "Little Guy" at that moment I had to get it. I searched everywhere for so long and finally found someone selling it on splitcoast stampers. YAY!
So here's my card using that stamp set.
For this card I used this sketch, I just flipped the circles around.
I have lots more cards to post for this challenge so stay tuned all week :)

Summer Card Camp Week 3 - Card 1

It's week 3 at Summer Card Camp and these are this weeks colours
At first when I looked at the colours I thought this was going to be tough, but once I made one card I couldn't stop! Here's one of the cards,
I love this Lawn Fawn stamp set, it's called Admit One. They have the cutest images ever! I used the merry go round and paper periced it using red and brown cardstock and some red patterned paper.
The patterned paper on the background looks a bit greeny in this picture but its brown I swear! lol.
Hope you all enjoy and stay tuned for lots more cards for this colour challenge :)

Beautiful Borders

Just a quick post for another challenge :)

At Moxie Fab World they have a border challenge.

The challenge: Create a paper crafted project (card, gift bag, tag, layout, home decor item, mini-book cover, etc.) that incorporates border strips in an innovative way.

I used a border punch since I don't have any border paper. I think it turned out cute! I'm not sure where these alphabet stickers came from, I found them in my stash, but I made them into a cute little banner :)

Love LIfe Retro Dress

Happy Monday!! I can't belive it's monday already, the weekend went too fast. Hope everyone had a great weekend. I had to work on Saturday so really I only had one day to hang out. Now onto today's card,
I made this card for the Moxie Fab Tuesday Trigger Challenge. For the challenge they showed us a card and we have to make a project that is inspired by that card. I thought the card looked kinda retro with the patterned paper and with the doily. So for my card I used a pink doily and made a dress from Lawn Fawns Happily Ever After stamp set that looks kinda retro.

Card Set

This is my first time ever making a card set. I'm pretty happy with it and it was really simple, it only took me about 30 minues! It would have taken less time but I mixed up the papers and it was hard to figure out what went where, oops!
All I did was take 5 peices of patterned paper and cut them 4"x 5 1/4" and cut them all the same with some sloping lines. I then adhered them onto the card base and stamped different sentiments onto white cardstock.

Have a Wonderful Day
