Fantabulous Challenge #38

Hey everyone! Hope your weekend was good :) This weeks challenge over at Fantabulous Cricut Blog is to make a project using ribbon. For the challenge I thought I would make a Christmas card, since that time is coming up.

For the card base I cut at 4" using the Card/tag feature on the Birthday Bash cartridge. The penguin was cut at 2 3/4" using Create a Critter and the tag was from Winter Frolic. I stamped the Happy Holiday's onto the tag and pop dotted it onto the side of the card. I also double pop dotted the penguin. I then added a ribbon with a little bow on the top. I think it turned out so cute :)

Be sure to check out the Fantabulous Cricut Blog for the challenge and have a chance to win some great prizes!

Christmas Tree Card

hey everyone! Hope your weekends going good so far. Mine's been pretty good. I went to Michaels today and it was crazy busy! I bought a couple stamps, a Martha Stewart punch (arctic snowflake) and a bunch of ribbon, because I am obsessed! lol. So here's a card using one of the stamps I bought.

The card is a A2 sized card. I handstamped the tree into the middle of the white cardstock and added some blue and silver rhinestones. I made a bow out of some of the ribbon I bought(love itt!) and hot glued it to the top.

I think this card turned out awesome and it was so easy to make too.. I just might have to make a few to hand out for Christmas :) Please comment and tell me what you think of it! Thanks!

Holly Jolly Santa

Hey everyone, hope your saturdays going well. Mine's going great, spent the whole day shopping and doing things with my mother and my boyfriend. Later tonight we're going to see our friends who just had a baby, she is too cute!

Anyways, here's a card I made earlier today. When I was out I bought some Christmas scrapbook paper (it was 25% off!) by atd at zellers. It has cute snowman images and santa, so I picked a couple different pads up. The card is a standard A2 card and the snowflake paper is from one of those paper pads.

I cut out the snowman using the Winter Frolic cartridge at 3 1/2" and pop dotted him onto the side of the card. The Holly Jolly is chipboard that I got at the dollar store awhile ago. I thought it looked cute on the card instead of using a stamp. It already had a rhinestone on it so I added a couple more randomly onto the card. I think it turned out so cute :) Hope you all enjoy it.

Birthday Bash Card

holla! Happy sunday everyone! How's was everyone's weekend? Mine wass awesome but I'm sad its almost over and back to work tomorrow. :( Here's the other card I promised I would post that I made using the Birthday Bash Cart. The picture is dark again, sorry!

This is a really basic card that is A2 sized. I cut light green cardstock half an inch smaller than the card. The bird and banner was cut at 2 1/2" and pop dotted them up. I also stamped happy birthday onto a piece of yellow cardstock and pop dotted it on the top of the card. Hope you all like it :)

Elephant Smile Circle Card

heyy! I've been so busy this past month, moving and studying for school. Sorry I havent been on here much, I promise I'll try to post more :) I bought the Birthday Bash cartridge awhile ago and it finally came in! I was so excited to get it because it has so many cute images and I will probably find so many things for it. I already made a few cards with it. Here's one of them

The pictures kinda dark sorry. But I cut the circle card out at 3 1/2" using the card/tag feature and I found it on page 43. The scalloped circle is part of the same feature. The elephant is from the phrase feature and i forgot how big i cut him. oops. I used my white gel pen and put little dots around the scalloped circle and also wrote around the word smile.

He came out so cute! and I already put him up in my etsy shop. Be sure to check it out. Anyways its dinner time, so I'll be back on tomorrow. Have fun everyone!
