Stinkin' Cute

happy saturday! I noticed it's been awhile since I've posted. It's my bf's birthday today so I gotta make this quick :)

I used SCAL for all these cuts. I found the skunk on google and I cut the "stinkin' cute" in pink and yellow and layered it on top of each other. The flowers are from a shop on etsy and I used my gel pen to outline the purple background.

Gotta go hang with the bf for his birthday. Told you this would be a quickie ;)

YAY for superbowl tomorrow!

Challenge Me Monday #44

Yay! It's Monday and that means another Fantabulous cricut challenge! This weeks challenge is to use a cartridge that you haven't used in over 6 months. That was kinda hard for me since I haven't had my cricut for that long but I chose a cartridge that I haven't used the longest. I actually only used Mini Monsters once since I got it!! It's crazy right?

I cut the minster out at 3.25" and embossed him with my Swiss dots embossing folder. I thought this would be a perfect boys birthday card so I used one of the new stamps I got the Pink by Design- take the cake.

Don't forget to upload your project at the Fantabulous cricut blog for your chance to win some great prizes :)

Challenge Me Monday

Hey everyone! At the Fantabulous Cricut today the challenge is to incorporate something sweet on your project. Candy, cupcakes, cake etc. Since valentines is coming up I thought I would make sometreat bag toppers.

I cut a price of pink paper out at 5"x3.5". I used my Martha Stewart punch on one side and folded the paper in half. The love bug and the sentiment are both from Simply Charmed. I cut the bug out at 2.25" and the "be mine" is cut at 1.25". I bought the clear baggies at the dollar store(100 for a buck!) and I used my tape runner on the bag to secure it on. Staples would work too. I put some candy hearts in the bag, I also had some valentine candy corn but my bf ate them all before I got to them lol!
These would be great for kids to take to school. I'm going to make a few more and bring them into work. I also bought some Hello Kitty valentines at Walmart today that I'll include in there.

Cupcake Tags

Good morning! I woke up really early this morning, I just couldn't sleep. I kept thinking about these tags I wanted to make lol! Yesturday I went to Michaels craft store because they had cartridges on sale for $16.99! They opened at 9 but I got there at 10 and they were all sold out!! I was so sad :( but I ended up getting this cute paper pack from Recollections called All Girl. It has some super cute pages with heels, dresses, lipstick and also stripes and dots. Anyways, back onto these tags...

I made them using SCAL and I'm suprised at how well they turned out. The paper on the bottom of the cupcakes is from that Recollections paper pack and I bought the sparkly paper from the dollar store. I also bought some in purple. I forgot where I got the ribbon from but the pearls are also from the dollar store. They have some great craft supplies for cheap ;) I'll be listing these into my etsy shop too.

Thanks for looking and I hope your weekend is going great! :)

Unicorn Card

Here's a simple card I made using the Paisley Cartridge. I was looking through all my cartridges and I noticed I haven't used this cart in awhile so I just had to make a card!

The card base is an A2 card using kraft paper. The dotted paper is from DCWV which I cut half an inch smaller than the base and the light pink paper is cut the same. I used my EK Success Scalloped punch and used some 3/8" satin ribbon and tied a bow. The unicorn is cut at 3 3/4" and I stamped the sentiment at the top. I've noticed that I've been using that Happy Birthday stamp alot.. I think I need some new stamps!

Thanks for looking and please comment as I love to read them :)

For my project I made a door hanger. I found an old door hanger that I had laying around and thought it would be a great idea to decorate it. I found some Christmas paper and traced the door hanger out on the back, cut it out and used my tape runner to keep it in place. The santa is from Winter Frolic and he's cut at 3 3/4" and the speach bubble is from Create a Critter. I added some faux stitching with my white gel pen on the santa. I stamped Happy Holidays onto the speech bubble and added a snowflake using my Arctic Snowflake punch by Martha Stewart. I love the way it turned out :)

For Someone Special Piggy Card

Heyy! I don't know about you but it's been snowing like crazy here! It's snowed nonstop all day and we're supposed to get over 60cm of it tonight! yikes! It's fun tho.. I throw snowballs at my boyfriend! lol

Here's a card I made today. I was reading Robyn's blog over at the Pink Stamper and she has a birthday challenge going on and I thought I would make this card for it. It's so cute! My camera sucks and we have bad lighting in our apt. so sorry about the darkness :(

I cut the piggy out at 2 3/4" with the Create a Critter cartridge and added a pink bow on her ear. I also faux stitched around her. The card is just the standard A2 out of kraft cardstock. I added a navy blue cardstock and some flower paper I had laying around. For the tag for the sentiment it's also from Create a Critter. I cut two out, one navy blue(1 3/4") and the white (1 1/2") and the "For someone Special" is a rub-on from Cosmo Cricket. (love these rub ons!!!) I love the way it turned out, but I wish my camera and lighting were better. oh well... ill take a better pic during the day. Hope you all like it :)

Fantabulous Challenge #38

Hey everyone! Hope your weekend was good :) This weeks challenge over at Fantabulous Cricut Blog is to make a project using ribbon. For the challenge I thought I would make a Christmas card, since that time is coming up.

For the card base I cut at 4" using the Card/tag feature on the Birthday Bash cartridge. The penguin was cut at 2 3/4" using Create a Critter and the tag was from Winter Frolic. I stamped the Happy Holiday's onto the tag and pop dotted it onto the side of the card. I also double pop dotted the penguin. I then added a ribbon with a little bow on the top. I think it turned out so cute :)

Be sure to check out the Fantabulous Cricut Blog for the challenge and have a chance to win some great prizes!

Christmas Tree Card

hey everyone! Hope your weekends going good so far. Mine's been pretty good. I went to Michaels today and it was crazy busy! I bought a couple stamps, a Martha Stewart punch (arctic snowflake) and a bunch of ribbon, because I am obsessed! lol. So here's a card using one of the stamps I bought.

The card is a A2 sized card. I handstamped the tree into the middle of the white cardstock and added some blue and silver rhinestones. I made a bow out of some of the ribbon I bought(love itt!) and hot glued it to the top.

I think this card turned out awesome and it was so easy to make too.. I just might have to make a few to hand out for Christmas :) Please comment and tell me what you think of it! Thanks!
